Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social skills through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies.
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that support early intervention, childhood development instruction, and preschool teaching best practices.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to share progress updates, behavioral observations, and developmental milestones.
• Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records related to child welfare and safety.
• Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor each child's progress and tailor lesson plans accordingly.
• Maintain knowledge of first aid and CPR procedures to ensure safety during all activities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings.
• Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and child development.
• Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical activities, and social-emotional learning.
• Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and team collaboration.
• Knowledge of behavior management strategies to foster positive classroom environments.
• Familiarity with special education needs and early intervention programs is preferred.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in childhood development or mandated reporting laws are advantageous.

Pay: $15.00 - $24.00 per hour
