Preschool Teacher or Pr-K Teacher

About the Position

We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Preschool & Pre-K Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with young children and creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.

Our teachers play an important role in supporting children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development through developmentally appropriate activities and meaningful relationships.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate, engaging learning activities.
• Support children's social-emotional development and encourage positive relationships.
• Provide opportunities for hands-on learning, creativity, exploration, and play.
• Establish consistent classroom routines and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Observe and document children's growth and development.
• Communicate regularly and professionally with families regarding children's experiences and progress.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom.
• Follow all school policies, health and safety regulations, and licensing requirements.
• Work collaboratively with fellow teachers, administrators, and support staff.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with preschool and/or Pre-K children preferred.
• Early childhood education coursework or a degree/certification is preferred.
• Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Patient, dependable, creative, and nurturing personality.
• Ability to create positive relationships with children and families.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to meet all applicable state licensing and background-check requirements.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
