Preschool Teacher

Overview

Happy Kids Development Center is currently seeking dedicated and passionate teachers to join our program. Happy Kids is a well-established privately owned childcare center that operates at enhanced ratios. Ideal candidates will have experience working with children and some education in the early childhood field. We offer competitive pay and benefits such as paid time off, bonuses, and reimbursement money up to $100.00 for health/dental/retirement. Full time and part-time positions available. Responsibilities

• Work with team teachers to develop and implement age-appropriate activities that align with early childhood education standards and support each child's developmental milestones.
• Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive social interactions among children.
• Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, circle time, art, physical activities that promote overall growth.
• Monitor and assess each child's progress through observation & documentation.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child to foster strong home-school partnerships.
• Implement behavior management strategies.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children, preschool or daycare setting and classroom experience preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles.
• Qualifying Criminal Background Check.
• Certification in first aid and CPR or willing to obtain.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and support staff.
• Ability to develop and implement engaging lessons that incorporate curriculum development and best practices for young learners.
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies to create a positive learning atmosphere.

Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
