Preschool Teacher

Growing Place Family Preschool is a small, nonprofit preschool in San Francisco’s Sunset District serving children ages 2 to 5. We are committed to creating a nurturing, supportive community where children and families feel a strong sense of belonging and teachers are valued and supported in their work.

Our play-based program follows a child-centered, emergent curriculum, with a strong emphasis on relationships and social-emotional development. We strive to provide a high-quality early childhood experience that encourages children to explore, create, connect, and grow.

We are looking for an experienced, caring teacher to join our team.

• The ability to build strong, trusting relationships with children and families
• A genuine passion for teaching and the ability to teach from the heart

Requirements

• Experience working in early childhood settings
• Criminal background clearance
• Medical clearance
• At least 12 core Early Childhood Education units. Official transcripts are required, including:
• Early Childhood Curriculum, 3 units
• Early Childhood Growth and Development, 3 units
• Child, Family & Community, 3 units
• Orientation to Early Childhood Education, 3 units
