Preschool Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Preschool Teacher. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, values teamwork, and creates a warm, engaging learning environment for young children.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred)
• Prior experience working in a preschool or childcare setting
• Understanding of Connecticut Early Learning and Development Standards (CT ELDS)
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities aligned with CT ELDS
• Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development
• Maintain positive relationships with families and colleagues
• Collaborate with team members to support program goals

• Demonstrates a genuine love of working with young children
• Is calm, patient, and compassionate in all interactions
• Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to the school community
• Is organized, reliable, and committed to professional growth
