Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and passionate Lead Infant Teacher to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will lead the care and early education of our youngest children, fostering a warm and stimulating atmosphere that promotes growth, curiosity, and development. Your expertise will ensure that each infant receives attentive care while supporting their social, emotional, and cognitive milestones.

Duties

• Lead daily activities that support infant development, including play, learning, and routine care.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment that encourages exploration and independence.
• Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and needs.
• Supervise and guide assistant teachers and caregivers to maintain high-quality care standards.
• Implement age-appropriate curriculum plans focused on childhood development principles.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid and pediatric CPR protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of each child's activities, milestones, and any incidents or observations.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with infants in a childcare or daycare setting.
• Knowledge of early childhood education best practices and child development instruction.
• Certification in first aid, pediatric first aid, CPR, and mandated reporting laws.
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to supervise children effectively.
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration.
• Ability to create engaging activities that promote behavioral management and developmental growth.
