At Kinderland, children learn through curiosity, creativity, and hands-on exploration. Our Project-Based Learning (PBL) approach encourages children to ask questions, explore ideas, collaborate, and create meaningful projects.

We are looking for a caring, creative, and dependable Teacher Assistant who enjoys working with young children and can help maintain an engaging, safe, and well-managed classroom.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher with daily activities, classroom routines, and PBL projects.
• Contribute creative ideas and help prepare materials for hands-on learning, art, building, and exploration.
• Encourage children to share ideas, ask questions, try different solutions, and work together.
• Support children’s own thinking and creativity while providing appropriate guidance.
• Help maintain classroom order through clear expectations, consistent routines, and positive redirection.
• Guide children through transitions and help them stay engaged during group and individual activities.
• Support social-emotional development by helping children express feelings, take turns, and resolve conflicts.
• Supervise children attentively during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and rest time.
• Assist with toileting, handwashing, meals, and other daily care needs.
• Keep the classroom and learning materials clean, organized, and ready for use.
• Share observations with the lead teacher and communicate respectfully with families and colleagues.
• Follow school policies and health and safety procedures.

Required Qualifications

• At least 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units.
• Previous experience working with young children in an early childhood education setting.
• A love for working with children and a patient, warm, and respectful approach.
• Creativity and enthusiasm for hands-on, project-based learning.
• Ability to support classroom management using positive guidance and consistent boundaries.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Dependability, punctuality, and willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Ability to complete required background clearance, health screening, and training.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PBL, inquiry-based, or play-based learning.
• Experience supporting small-group activities and classroom transitions.
• Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification.
