Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and childhood development principles.
• Facilitate engaging lessons that support early intervention strategies and special education needs to ensure inclusive learning experiences.
• Manage classroom activities to promote positive behavior management and effective classroom management techniques.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress updates, discuss concerns, and foster strong home-school connections.
• Ensure safety by adhering to mandated reporting laws, maintaining first aid and CPR certifications, and following child welfare protocols.
• Support children with toddler care needs and assist in implementing individualized plans for children requiring additional support.
• Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor developmental milestones and learning outcomes.

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in a preschool or early childhood education setting is essential.
• Demonstrated knowledge of child development instruction, behavior management, classroom management, and curriculum development.
• Experience teaching physical education, literacy education, math, or tutoring young children is highly valued.
• Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and childhood welfare policies enhances your effectiveness in this role.
• Strong communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration are required.
• Previous classroom experience in private or public schools is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for ongoing professional growth is important.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in early childhood education or preschool teaching are a plus.

Pay: $16.75 - $17.00 per hour
