About the Role

At Shine Preschool Center, we don't just "watch" children; we create an environment where they thrive. We are looking for a Lead Teacher who is passionate about building an amazing culture and providing a world-class experience for our families.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

• Curriculum & Spirit: Collaborate with our team to design and lead activities for children ages 2–6 that spark growth physically, cognitively and socially.
• Regulation Mastery: Keep our program "Shining" by ensuring full compliance with Title 22 regulations.
• Family Connection: Build deep, trusting relationships with our families through daily face-to-face interactions, check-ins, and consistent communication.
• Continuous Growth: Stay at the top of your game by completing at least 15 hours of professional development annually (we want you to keep learning!).
• Leadership: Report directly to the Director and serve as a pillar of positivity and professional excellence in the classroom.

What You Bring (Qualifications)

• Educational Foundation: At least an Associate’s Degree in ECE (preferred) plus a minimum of 12 ECE units (required).
• Proven Experience: You’ve spent at least 3 years leading a classroom in a licensed childcare center.
• Safety First: Current First Aid and CPR certifications (Infant/Child).
• Reliability: You are ready to commit to a full-time schedule: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (40 hours/week, subject to change)
