Preschool Lead Teacher – Faith & Nature-Based Childcare

Little Beginnings Learning Center is actively hiring an experienced, qualified Preschool Lead Teacher to join our team!

We are a faith- and nature-based childcare center where children are encouraged to explore, get messy, ask questions, build independence, and spend plenty of time outdoors. We’re looking for someone who can confidently step into a preschool classroom and lead it.

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate:

• Meets Minnesota qualifications for a Lead Teacher
• Has previous experience independently running a childcare or preschool classroom
• Has strong classroom management and positive guidance skills
• Is organized, dependable, and confident making decisions
• Can lead and communicate effectively with other classroom staff
• Builds strong, professional relationships with families
• Enjoys being outside and understands the value of nature-based learning
• Is comfortable working in a faith-based environment
• Can plan engaging, developmentally appropriate experiences based on children's interests
• Understands that preschool still includes diapers, potty training, messy play, big emotions, muddy boots, runny noses, and all the other glamorous parts of Early Childhood Education

We're looking for someone who can balance structure with fun, leadership with teamwork, and learning with PLAY.

What You'll Do

You'll take ownership of your classroom—creating an environment where children feel safe, loved, challenged, and excited to learn. You'll lead daily routines and activities, support your teaching team, communicate with families, maintain licensing requirements, and help create the kind of classroom children can't wait to come back to.

If you're an experienced preschool teacher who's ready to lead a classroom and wants to work somewhere that values faith, nature, relationships, and childhood, we'd love to hear from you.
