Pre-Kindergarten Lead Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Pre-Kindergarten Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster their early childhood development. Responsibilities

• Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including curriculum development tailored to preschool-aged children.
• Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that encourage respectful interactions and independence.
• Utilize child development instruction techniques to support individual learning styles, including experience working with children with special education needs and early intervention requirements.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress updates, behavioral observations, and strategies for supporting children's learning at home.
• Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting incidents or concerns related to child welfare or safety.
• Incorporate literacy education, math activities, physical education, and Montessori methods into daily lessons to promote holistic development.
• Ensure the safety of all children by maintaining first aid and CPR certifications, adhering to health protocols, and implementing classroom safety procedures.

Experience

• Prior experience teaching young children in preschool or daycare settings is essential; experience with toddler care is highly valued.
• Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, classroom management, behavior management, and childhood development instruction.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children while fostering a collaborative environment.
• Experience working in private schools or daycare centers is preferred; familiarity with Montessori methods is a plus.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is encouraged.

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
