Pre- K Teacher Wanted (Early Childhood Educator)

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Pre-K Teacher to join our team, part time. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of early childhood development and a genuine love for working with children ages 4-5 years. This role involves creating a warm, stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration, social development, and early learning.

Duties

• Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities
• Provide a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment
• Support children’s emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development
• Maintain daily communication with parents/guardians regarding their child’s progress
• Observe and document children’s developmental milestones
• Foster positive behavior and guide children with patience and care
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support classroom and center goals
• Ensure compliance with all licensing and safety regulations

Experience

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working with children in a licensed childcare setting preferred
• Knowledge of child development and best practices in early childhood care
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and engage in active caregiving tasks
• Strong communication, patience, and organizational skills

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
