Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Pre-K Teacher to inspire and nurture the youngest learners in our early childhood education program. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to preschool-aged children, incorporating literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods as applicable
• Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and social interaction
• Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, behavior management, and child development instruction
• Support early intervention strategies and collaborate with specialists when working with children requiring additional support or special education services
• Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare regulations to maintain a safe learning environment
• Foster positive communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and developmental milestones
• Incorporate classroom management techniques to promote respectful behavior and effective learning experiences for all students

Experience

• Prior teaching experience with young children in preschool or daycare settings is required
• Strong background in childhood development, early childhood education, and classroom management techniques
• Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing standardized testing or assessments
• Knowledge of special education practices, early intervention programs, and behavior management strategies
• Familiarity with Montessori methods or other preschool teaching philosophies is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and needs
• Excellent communication skills to engage with students, parents, colleagues, and community partners

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
