Pre-K Lead Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Pre-K Lead Teacher to inspire young learners in a dynamic early childhood education environment. Responsibilities

• Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including curriculum development focused on literacy, math, physical education, and social skills.
• Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and encourages curiosity and exploration.
• Foster strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues through effective communication skills and collaborative teamwork.
• Monitor each child's progress through ongoing assessments, including standardized testing when applicable, to tailor instruction and support early intervention strategies.
• Manage classroom routines efficiently to ensure smooth transitions and maximize learning time while maintaining high standards of classroom management.
• Support children with special education needs by adapting activities and collaborating with specialists to promote inclusive learning experiences.
• Maintain detailed records of student development, attendance, and behavioral observations to inform instruction and communicate progress to families.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention techniques.
• Proven experience in preschool or daycare settings with classroom management expertise.
• Strong background in curriculum development across various domains such as literacy education, math, physical education.
• Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds, including toddlers and those requiring special education accommodations.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with families and team members clearly and compassionately.
• Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools used in early childhood education.

Pay: $47,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
