Pre-K Lead Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Pre-K Lead Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic early childhood education environment. As a key member of our educational team, you will create engaging lesson plans, foster a positive classroom atmosphere, and support the developmental milestones of preschool-aged children. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to preschoolers’ developmental stages, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills.
• Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of children’s progress using standardized testing methods and observational techniques to inform instruction.
• Collaborate with families to communicate children’s progress, address individual needs such as special education or early intervention services, and foster strong home-school connections.
• Manage classroom routines efficiently while maintaining safety standards in childcare and daycare settings.
• Incorporate Montessori principles and other educational philosophies to enhance learning experiences.
• Support children with diverse needs by adapting lessons for children requiring additional support in areas like behavior management or childhood development.
• Lead activities that promote physical development, social-emotional learning, and literacy education through engaging lesson planning and tutoring sessions.

Experience

• Prior classroom experience working with preschool or early childhood education is essential.
• Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
• Experience working with children with special needs or in early intervention programs is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Montessori methods, standardized testing procedures, and childhood development principles is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members.
• Background in childcare or daycare environments with a focus on toddler care and preschool experience is advantageous.
