Pre-K 3 teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced 3K Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. You will be responsible for classroom activities, fostering developmental growth, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. This role requires a passion for early childhood education, strong classroom management skills, and a commitment to supporting each child's individual needs.

Duties

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to preschool-aged children, promoting social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
• Manage daily classroom activities to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor children's progress and document developmental milestones in accordance with educational standards.
• Maintain a safe classroom environment by adhering to health and safety regulations, including first aid and CPR protocols.
• Enforce classroom rules and behavior management strategies that foster respect and cooperation among children.
• Comply with mandated reporting laws by recognizing signs of child abuse or neglect and reporting concerns appropriately.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental needs.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in preschool education and childhood development skills.
• Proven teaching experience with young children in a preschool setting.
• Strong understanding of childhood development principles and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
• Effective classroom management skills to create an organized, safe, and engaging learning environment.
• Knowledge of preschool curriculum planning and implementation.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is required or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, staff, and community partners.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs of young children.
