We are currently seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Part-Time Teacher – Afternoon Closer to join our team at our Saint Peters, MO location.

Schedule & What We Offer

• Part-time, Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–6:00 PM
• No nights or weekends—enjoy every weekend off!
• Competitive starting pay of $15.00–$17.00 per hour, based on experience and education

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
• Provide attentive and engaging care for infants and toddlers during the afternoon hours
• Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and development
• Support children's social, emotional, and developmental growth through positive and engaging interactions
• Foster strong relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
• Assist with end-of-day classroom routines and ensure the classroom is properly prepared for the following day
• Follow all health, safety, and state licensing regulations
• Communicate effectively with families and staff regarding children's daily activities and needs
• Help ensure a smooth and positive transition for children and families at the end of the day

Our Ideal Candidate

• Organized, dependable, creative, patient, and passionate about working with young children
• At least 18 years old
• Previous childcare or daycare experience strongly preferred
• Advanced education in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred
• Must pass a criminal background check, physical exam, and TB test
• CPR and First Aid certification required (or willing to obtain)
• Must have or be willing to obtain a Class E driver's license for driving responsibilities, if required
