Preschool Teacher Assistant

Covenant Preschool is a Christian Preschool meeting the needs of the whole child. We have an opening for one part-time Preschool Teacher Assistant.

- Part-Time: Monday to Thursday (25-30 hours per week - Shift start and stop time will be discussed during the interview)

Start date: Immediately

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous experience in childcare
• Energetic and Passionate about working with children in a Christian environment
• Ability to build rapport with children
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Team player
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs
• Must be able to get up and down off the floor
• Pass background checks

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the teacher to carry out lesson plans
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Attend monthly staff meetings

Compensation: $15 to $17 per hour
