Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Part-time Infant Assistant Teacher to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will support infant care routines, assist with classroom activities, and ensure a safe and stimulating environment for our youngest learners. This position provides an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on children's early development while working in a supportive team setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily infant care routines, including feeding, diapering, and soothing.
• Support classroom management by engaging with infants through age-appropriate activities and play.
• Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's day, milestones, and needs.
• Follow mandated reporting laws to ensure child safety and well-being are prioritized at all times.
• Support early childhood education practices focused on childhood development and behavior management.
• Collaborate with lead teachers to implement curriculum plans that promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Skills

• Experience working with infants in daycare or classroom settings.
• Knowledge of child development instruction and early childhood education principles.
• Certification in first aid, CPR, and pediatric first aid is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with special education needs and working with children with disabilities is a plus.
• Strong child supervision skills combined with classroom management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration.
• Ability to follow safety protocols, including mandated reporting laws and health guidelines related to childcare.

Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
