Infant and Waddler Preschool Teacher

We are a Christian preschool seeking a like-minded individual to work with our infants and waddlers. Hours are Monday through Thursday, 12:30-5:30 and Fridays, 7:30AM-4:30PM. We keep our ratios lower than the state allowed ratios to make for a more meaningful time with each individual infant. The right candidate should be patient, loving, flexible, hardworking and passionate about childcare. As a center we value each one of our employees and treat all fairly and as family. Responsibilities

• Provide nurturing infant and waddler care, supporting growth and development through age-appropriate activities and play.

• Create a safe, stimulating classroom environment with structured routines, supervision, and clear behavior guidance.

• Assist with lesson planning and implement early learning activities focused on social, emotional, and cognitive skills.

• Communicate regularly with parents about daily progress, concerns, and milestones; document observations for consistent caregiving.

• Ensure compliance with pediatric first aid, safety protocols, and daycare policies; maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching infants and waddlers in a preschool setting

• Strong child development knowledge and ability to implement age-appropriate activities

• Certified in pediatric first aid and CPR; ongoing safety-conscious supervision

• Excellent communication with parents and collaboration with caregivers

• Classroom management, behavior guidance, and inclusive practices for young children

• Preschool/daycare center experience; ability to multitask in a part-time role

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
