<Duties>

• Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development for preschool and toddler-aged children
• Supervise children during playtime, meals, nap times, and outdoor activities to ensure safety and engagement
• Support classroom management by maintaining a positive environment that encourages good behavior and cooperation among children
• Collaborate with lead teacher to monitor each child's progress and address individual needs, including those with special education requirements or disabilities
• Administer basic first aid when necessary and follow health and safety protocols diligently
• Communicate effectively
• Maintain cleanliness of the classroom and ensure all materials are organized and ready for daily use

<Skills>

• Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings, including classroom experience with toddlers or infants
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
• Ability to manage classroom behavior with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement techniques
• First aid certification and knowledge of emergency procedures to ensure child safety at all times
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and engaging with parents effectively
• Familiarity with caregiving roles such as babysitting or nannying that involve nurturing young children
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a busy daycare environment while maintaining a lively, supportive atmosphere
