Do you love working with young children and creating a fun, positive environment where they can learn and grow? Celebree School is looking for a caring, energetic, and dependable Afternoon Preschool Teacher to join our team!
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with preschool-aged children and is looking for a consistent, part-time afternoon schedule.

What You'll Do
As an Afternoon Preschool Teacher, you'll help make the final hours of each child's school day safe, engaging, and enjoyable.

Engage and Inspire: Lead fun, age-appropriate activities, games, stories, and creative play that encourage learning and exploration.

Create a Positive Environment: Maintain a warm, welcoming classroom where every child feels safe, supported, and valued.

Support Afternoon Routines: Help children transition through afternoon activities, classroom cleanup, and end-of-day routines.

Ensure Safety: Actively supervise children and maintain a clean, organized classroom while following all childcare licensing and safety requirements.

Connect with Families: Greet parents warmly at pickup and share positive highlights from their child's day.

Work as a Team: Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to provide a consistent, high-quality experience for every child.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare center, preschool, or similar setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood development and age-appropriate classroom practices.
- Ability to manage a classroom while creating a positive, nurturing environment.
- Strong communication skills, patience, reliability, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Ability to meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements applicable to the position.

Must be consistently available Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
