Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-Time One Year Old Lead Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. This energetic role involves guiding and nurturing infants in a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. As a lead teacher, you will be responsible for creating a warm classroom atmosphere that promotes curiosity, exploration, and foundational skills essential for early childhood growth. Your expertise will help lay the groundwork for lifelong learning, fostering positive relationships with children and their families while adhering to best practices in early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans tailored to the developmental needs of one-year-old children, incorporating literacy education, physical activity, and social-emotional learning.
• Provide attentive toddler care by supporting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging activities and consistent routines.
• Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques to promote a respectful and nurturing environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation related to child welfare and development.
• Collaborate with team members to plan lessons that incorporate child development instruction, early intervention strategies, and classroom management best practices.
• Maintain a safe classroom environment by adhering to health and safety standards, including first aid and CPR certifications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, specifically with infants or toddlers.
• Strong knowledge of child development principles, childhood development milestones, and preschool teaching methods.
• Experience developing curriculum that includes literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and social-emotional skills.
• Familiarity with special education practices and early intervention strategies is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and team collaboration.
• Classroom management expertise to create structured yet flexible learning environments.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in mandated reporting laws is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to implement lesson planning effectively while adapting to individual children's needs.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
