Lead Two Year Old Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Two Year Old Teacher to join our early childhood education team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for two year olds, fostering their curiosity and growth. As a leader in the classroom, you will implement curriculum development strategies, support early intervention efforts, and ensure a safe and stimulating space where children can thrive.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans tailored to the developmental needs of two-year-olds.
• Lead daily classroom activities that promote language acquisition, motor skills, social interaction, and early literacy education.
• Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques to foster a respectful and inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with families to support child development, communicate progress, and address individual needs or special education requirements.
• Oversee classroom management duties including lesson planning, maintaining a clean and organized learning space, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Document children's progress through assessments when appropriate to inform instruction and communicate with parents or guardians.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting, specifically with toddlers aged two years old.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, behavior management strategies, and classroom management techniques.
• Experience with curriculum development that includes literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and sensory activities suitable for toddlers.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and specialists.
• Prior classroom experience is preferred
• Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate play-based learning while meeting developmental milestones.
