Lead Toddler Teacher

Job Summary

We are seeking a Lead Toddler Teacher. In this role, you will lead a vibrant classroom environment focused on toddler care and early childhood education, fostering a love of learning through engaging activities and thoughtful guidance. Your expertise in curriculum development, child development instruction, and behavior management will ensure each child's growth and well-being are prioritized. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans tailored to toddler development stages.
• Lead daily classroom activities that promote social-emotional growth, language skills, motor development, and early childhood learning standards.
• Manage classroom behavior with positive behavior management techniques to foster a respectful and inclusive environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, ensuring transparency and building strong partnerships.
• Oversee classroom organization, ensuring safety protocols are followed in accordance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare standards.
• Supervise assistant teachers and support staff to maintain high-quality childcare and educational delivery.

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in a childcare setting is required; experience specifically with toddlers is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management within early childhood education environments.
• Valid certifications including first aid and CPR are necessary; additional credentials in childhood development or teaching are a plus.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and community partners while maintaining professionalism and compassion.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
