Lead Toddler Teacher

Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional development tailored for toddlers.
• Lead classroom activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and physical movement while maintaining a safe and organized environment.
• Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding each child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong partnerships.
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom staff to ensure high-quality childcare and educational standards are maintained.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of child development to tailor instruction and interventions as needed, including early intervention strategies when appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with all mandated reporting laws, health and safety regulations, including first aid and CPR certifications, and uphold child welfare standards at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children in a classroom or daycare setting, especially with toddlers or preschoolers.
• Strong background in early childhood education principles, childhood development, and curriculum development.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, staff, and community partners.
• Demonstrated ability to manage classroom dynamics through effective classroom management practices.
• Experience teaching physical education or tutoring young children is a plus.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
