Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging curriculum tailored to toddler development stages, incorporating literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
• Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and joyful environment that promotes curiosity and exploration.
• Manage classroom routines, behavior management strategies, and child welfare practices to support positive behavior and emotional well-being.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong partnerships.
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom staff to ensure high-quality instruction and adherence to educational standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of child development progress, standardized testing results, and incident reports in compliance with mandated reporting laws.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed by maintaining first aid and CPR certifications and implementing health guidelines diligently.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration.
• Certification in first aid and CPR; additional credentials in special education or early intervention are a plus.
• Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations.
• Prior classroom experience in private or preschool settings is preferred; experience teaching physical education or working with children with special needs is advantageous.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
