Job Summary

Messiah Early Learning Center & Preschool has been a part of the Mounds View comminuty for 50+ years. In the fall of 2024 Messiah expanded and added an infant & toddler classroom to our program.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team. Our company is committed to providing a nurturing and educational enviroment for young children to learn and grow.

As a Lead Teacher you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing, learning, faith, based classroom, helping our little ones develop essential skill during the early stages of development.

Our work environment includes:

- On the job training

-2 weeks off at christmas and 1 week off at Spring break, plus MEA, and all major holidays

- Full time, Monday- Friday 930-530

Lead Teachers:

Our staff are the hear of our program. We are looking for someone who will be able to create a safe, nurturing, enviroment with our current staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
• Create a classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, independence, and problem solving.
• Maintain a consistent daily schedule and classroom routines.
• Use positive guidance techniques and Conscious Discipline strategies to teach self-regulation and conflict resolution. Adhere to our LCMS faith based teachings.
• Observe and document children's growth and development.
• Complete developmental assessments and conferences with families as assigned.
• Maintain active supervision of children at all times.
• Communicate with parents about their child's daily activities and progress
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
• Develop positive relationships with children, parents, and other staff members- Follow standardized operating procedures to provide a quality care experience for each child

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
