Lead Toddler Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and reliable person to join our family. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children ages 2 1/2-4 years old by fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This position involves creating and implementing lesson plans using The Creative Curriculum, being able to manage a classroom, and to support each child's unique learning journey.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement The Creative Curriculum
• Create individual lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and developmental stages.
• Manage classroom behavior to ensure a positive learning environment.
• Provide individualized support for children.
• Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting.
• Knowledge of child development stages, behavior management techniques, and literacy education strategies.
• Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with children, parents, and staff.
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED is a MUST.
• Willingness to obtain a CDA.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.50 - $12.00 per hour
