Lead Toddler Teacher

Lakeside Montessori Academy is a family-owned and operated school known for excellence in early childhood education. We are seeking a nurturing and energetic teacher that is passionate about early childhood education, and is dedicated to providing a safe, stimulating, and loving environment for our younger learners.

We are searching for a Toddler and Two-Year-Old teacher with a passion for developing young minds. They should genuinely care about the development and well-being of the children they teach.

The ideal candidate would have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for managing a classroom, sending written notifications to parents, and interacting with others. They would also possess a patient and nurturing personality.
Toddler Teacher Responsibilities:

• Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.
• Planning and delivering lessons designed to facilitate students' social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Encouraging self-expression through understanding, flexibility, and behavioral reinforcement.
• Tending to child's individual needs
• Modelling appropriate behaviors
• Ensuring that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning at all times.
• Tracking and informing parents of students' progress using a learning app on a tablet
• Attending staff meetings.
• Implementing the curriculum

Toddler Teacher Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Clear criminal record.
Prior experience working with young children, preferably within a similar setting.

Physically fit and able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Warm, approachable disposition.
Excellent problem-solving skills.

A passion for early childhood development.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
