Location: Kiddie Kollege Childcare – Ryan Road CampusSchedule: Monday–Friday, full-time; specific shift to be determinedPay: $15.00–$16.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Position Overview

Kiddie Kollege’s Ryan Road Campus is seeking a caring, experienced, and dependable Lead Toddler Teacher. This classroom leadership role is responsible for creating a safe, engaging program that supports the physical, social-emotional, and cognitive development of children ages 18 months to 3 years.

The Lead Toddler Teacher plans and guides daily classroom activities, supports assistant teachers and aides, and builds positive relationships with children and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support children’s development and learning.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and stimulating classroom.
• Encourage children’s curiosity, independence, and positive social interactions.
• Guide and support assistant teachers and classroom aides.
• Observe children’s progress and maintain appropriate documentation.
• Communicate with families about children’s experiences, development, and needs.
• Maintain accurate attendance, incident, assessment, and classroom records.
• Follow all state licensing requirements and health and safety procedures.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ohio Career Pathway Level (CPL) 3 or higher, a CDA, or a degree in early childhood education preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a licensed childcare setting; toddler experience preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to pass required background checks and meet employment health requirements.
