Lead Toddler Teacher

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture our youngest learners. Duties

• Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans focused on colors, shapes, letters, numbers, and social skills for toddlers.
• Lead daily classroom activities that promote exploration, creativity, and learning through play.
• Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques to create a safe and supportive environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns to foster strong home-school partnerships.
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality childcare standards are maintained.
• Ensure compliance with all mandated reporting laws and health & safety regulations, including first aid and CPR certifications.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of child development
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental milestones, and lesson plans while ensuring the classroom remains organized and inviting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting, especially with toddlers.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and curriculum development
• Demonstrated classroom management skills combined with effective behavior management techniques.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members clearly and professionally.
• Valid certifications in first aid and CPR; knowledge of mandated reporting laws is essential.
• Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate and promote overall child welfare.
• Must be reliable, keep a clean/sanitized environment, a team player and genuinely love working with children.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
