Lead Toddler Teacher – 4-Day Work Week + Where Curiosity Grows

At Seeds of Early Learning Academy, we believe

“curiosity, nature, and community grow together.”

We’re not your typical daycare—and we’re not looking for a typical teacher.

We’re looking for someone who wants to be part of something meaningful, where:

-The child is at the center of learning

-Nature is our classroom

-Community is valued

⸻

The Schedule That Changes Everything:

• 4 longer days per week
• 1 additional day off every single week
• More time for family, appointments, rest—or just life

This isn’t just flexible scheduling. It’s a better way to work.

⸻

Our Approach:

• Reggio Emilia–inspired
• Hands-on, child-led exploration
• Extended outdoor learning every day
• A school where curiosity is encouraged, not rushed

⸻

What You’ll Experience Here:

• Being part of “The Heart of SOELA”—a team that truly supports each other
• Creating meaningful moments during the most important years of development
• Watching toddlers explore, create, question, and grow
• Celebrating together through events like art shows, planting days, and family nights

⸻

Who We’re Looking For:

• Lead teacher qualified (or working toward it) per IL DCFS
• Someone who believes learning goes beyond four walls
• A positive, team-oriented educator who wants to grow with us
• Someone ready to get a little messy, go outside, and have fun!

⸻

Why SOELA?

Because we are inspired by children and rooted in community.

And as we continue to grow, so can you—with real opportunities for leadership and advancement.
