Lead Toddler Infant Teacher

Duties

• Lead daily classroom activities tailored to the developmental needs of toddlers and infants, promoting curiosity and independence
• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that support early childhood development milestones
• Supervise children closely, ensuring their safety through vigilant child supervision and classroom management
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns in a professional and positive manner
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
• Collaborate with team members to plan activities that foster social-emotional skills, language development, and motor skills
• Follow all mandated reporting laws and health protocols, including pediatric first aid, CPR, and child safety procedures

Requirements

• Proven experience working with young children in daycare or preschool settings, with a strong background in toddler and infant care
• Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development instruction, behavior management, and classroom management techniques
• Valid certifications in first aid, CPR (including pediatric first aid), and mandated reporting laws
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration
• Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a dynamic environment
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles, child supervision standards, and daycare center regulations

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
