Lead Teacher, Toddlers: SMALL CLASS SIZES

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves implementing engaging lesson plans and activities that align with our curriculum while ensuring the safety and well-being of each child in the classroom. We pride ourselves on SMALL CLASS SIZES OF 4-5 STUDENTS!

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and cooperation among students.
• Utilize behavior management techniques to maintain a respectful and productive classroom atmosphere.
• Assess children's progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children's development and address any concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of best practices in early childhood education.

Skills

• Strong understanding of early childhood education principles
• Experience in curriculum development tailored for preschool-aged children.
• Proficiency in lesson planning that incorporates various subjects such as math, physical education, and creative arts.
• Ability to manage behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among children.
• Previous experience in daycare or private school settings is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and colleagues.
• A nurturing attitude with a genuine love for working with young children.
