About the Role:

The Wonder Years Learning Center in Wilmington, MA is looking for a passionate and dedicated Lead Pre-K Teacher to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on young learners in a nurturing and creative environment. You will be working with an experienced Teacher, who has been a long-term employee to plan curriculum and co-lead the classroom. Responsibilities:

Plan and implement an age-appropriate play-based curriculum aligned with early childhood development standards
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment for all children
Support nature-based outdoor play 2-3 times each day
Monitor and document individual child progress and developmental milestones
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child development and classroom activities
Maintain compliance with state licensing regulations and center policies
Collaborate with staff to support a positive, team-oriented learning community

Requirements:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Ability to pass a background check in accordance with Massachusetts state requirements
Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine love for working with children
