Lead Teacher – New Child Care Center Opening (Orion Location)

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills.
• Lead classroom activities with energy and enthusiasm, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children from toddler to preschool age.
• Manage classroom routines and behavior management strategies to support positive interactions and foster independence among children.
• Collaborate with team members to design lesson plans tailored to individual learning styles and developmental stages, including early intervention strategies.
• Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or classroom behavior.
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to uphold high standards of childcare and classroom management.
• Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and best practices in early childhood education.

Skills

• Extensive experience in classroom management, lesson planning, and curriculum development within early childhood education settings.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development.
• Proven ability to work effectively with children across different age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, staff, and community partners.
• Skilled in behavior management techniques that promote positive social interactions.
• Experience with childcare operations

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
