Lead Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities
• Foster a safe, clean, and supportive classroom environment
• Observe and assess children’s progress and document observations
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding child development and behavior
• Assist in maintaining classroom schedules, routines, and transitions
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support center-wide initiatives
• Follow all licensing regulations, health and safety guidelines, and center policies
• Attend regular staff meetings and participate in professional development

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• At least 18 years old
• Can PASS all background checks
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience working with children in a licensed childcare setting (preferred)
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• A genuine passion for early childhood development
• Dependable

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Capable of sitting on the floor, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Ability to react quickly in emergency situations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $10.00 per hour
