We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Lead Teacher to oversee early childhood education programs for children aged 3K (Three-Year-Old Kindergarten) and Pre-Kindergarten within our district. In this vital role, you will lead classroom instruction, develop engaging curricula, and foster a nurturing environment that promotes early childhood development. Your leadership will ensure that young learners receive high-quality educational experiences aligned with state standards, while also supporting their social-emotional growth. Duties

• Design and implement developmentally appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning tailored to preschool-aged children.
• Lead classroom activities that promote active learning, curiosity, and positive behavior management strategies to support each child's individual needs.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons, assess student progress through standardized testing, and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs, including special education and early intervention programs.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones through meetings and written updates.
• Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety protocols; maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and incident reports.
• Supervise classroom staff and student teachers as needed while promoting professional development in early childhood education best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with young children in preschool or early childhood education settings; prior classroom management experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of child development principles, curriculum development, literacy education, math instruction, and behavior management techniques.
• Familiarity with special education requirements, early intervention strategies, and childhood welfare policies.
• Certification or licensure in early childhood education or a related field
• Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to plan engaging lessons aligned with state standards while incorporating innovative teaching methods such as tutoring or physical education activities.
• Experience working in private or public preschool environments is preferred; familiarity with mandated reporting laws is essential.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
