Lead Teacher

The Lead Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing learning environment and supporting each child’s growth through meaningful interactions, developmentally appropriate activities, and consistent communication with families.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, supervised, and engaging classroom environment at all times.
• Implement developmentally appropriate activities that support the center’s curriculum and daily classroom routines.
• Support children’s social-emotional development through positive guidance, redirection, and consistent routines.
• Encourage independence, language development, and age-appropriate self-help skills.
• Build strong, professional relationships with families through daily communication and updates.
• Document children’s learning and share observations with families and leadership as needed.
• Work collaboratively with teammates and follow all center policies and licensing regulations.

Qualifications

• 30 BASIC Stars Certificate
• First Aid & CPR Certified
• Proof of MMR
• Blood Borne Pathogens Certified
• Negative TB Test
• Portable Background Check
