Lead Teacher – 12–24 Months Classroom

Creative Learning Academy at Sugar Land is an early learning center for infants through school-aged children. Our mission is to provide an inviting, structured, and stimulating educational experience that promotes every child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

Creative Learning Academy is currently seeking a Lead Teacher for our 12–24 Months Classroom at our Sugar Land location.

Qualified individuals must have:

• At least 2 years of experience as a teacher or assistant teacher in a licensed childcare center.
• Experience working with children between 12 and 24 months of age, including feeding, diaper changing, and providing nurturing care.
• Experience implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities that support toddlers’ early learning and development.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a safe, structured, and engaging classroom.
• Ability to communicate and work well with parents, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A nurturing, energetic, patient, and dependable approach when working with young children.

This position will be full-time, from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with a 1.5-hour break. The childcare center operates Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

Applicant must be at least 18 years of age, and have a HS Diploma or GED equivalent in addition to the experience listed above. The right individuals must be extremely reliable and punctual, be nurturing and energetic, and posses the patience needed to work with young children.

We offer holiday pay after 90-day introductory period is completed satisfactorily.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
