Lead Preschool Teacher

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in guiding classroom activities, supporting children's development, and maintaining effective communication with parents. Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to preschool-aged children, promoting early childhood education and childhood development.
• Manage daily classroom activities to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for young learners.
• Engage children in educational play and activities that support their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones to foster strong home-school connections.
• Lead classroom management efforts to ensure positive behavior and a respectful learning atmosphere.
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or teaching staff, providing guidance on preschool teaching best practices.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and licensing requirements related to early childhood education.

Experience

• Proven teaching experience working with young children in an early childhood education setting.
• Strong understanding of childhood development principles and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
• Experience in classroom management and creating engaging lesson plans for preschoolers.
• Excellent communication skills for effective parent interactions and team collaboration.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience is preferred but not mandatory; a demonstrated ability to lead by example is essential.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
