Lead Preschool Teacher (Ages 3-4) – Early Childhood Education

Small World Learning Center is hiring a lead preschool teacher for our Spring Park location. We are looking for someone who has experience working in a licensed childcare center and enjoys creating a positive, engaging environment where preschool-aged children can learn and grow.

Our preschool classrooms focus on play-based learning, structured routines, and preparing children for kindergarten. We are looking for a teacher who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in their classroom, and is committed to creating a nurturing and organized learning environment.

Position Details

Location: Spring Park, MN
Position: Preschool Teacher
Schedule: Full-time
Pay: $22–$25 per hour depending on experience

What You'll Do

• Care for and teach children ages 3-4 years old
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum
• Support children’s social, emotional, and early academic development
• Maintain structured daily routines including circle time, learning centers, and outdoor play
• Create a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
• Communicate daily with parents about their child’s day and progress
• Work collaboratively with a supportive teaching team

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working in a licensed childcare center or preschool classroom preferred
• Ability to meet Minnesota DCYF teacher qualification requirements
• Knowledge of early childhood development
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Reliable, patient, and nurturing personality
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
