Chappell Schools is currently seeking a qualified, dedicated, and passionate Lead K3Teacher for our San Marco campus. We are looking for an experienced educator who is committed to delivering high-quality early childhood education, providing strong classroom leadership, and creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.

Qualifications (Required)

• Completion of DCF 45 Hours
• Active CDA (Child Development Associate Credential)
• Experience in early childhood education is strongly desired
• Strong classroom management and leadership skills
• Must pass Level 2 Background Screening: https://ahca.myflorida.com/health-quality-assurance/bureau-of-central-services/background-screening/clearinghouse

Position Overview

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday
Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

The Lead K3Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate K3 curriculum, maintaining a structured and nurturing classroom environment, supervising assistant teachers, and fostering strong relationships with children and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging, standards-aligned K3lessons
• Prepare children for VPK readiness using developmentally appropriate practices
• Maintain a warm, structured, and positive classroom environment
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to assistant teachers
• Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development
• Maintain accurate classroom documentation and compliance with DCF
• Communicate effectively and professionally with families and administration
