Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will lead the development and implementation of engaging, age-appropriate activities that foster growth, curiosity, and a love of learning in infants. You will serve as a role model for fellow educators, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported. Your expertise in early childhood development will help create a positive foundation for each child's future success. Responsibilities

  • Lead daily classroom activities that promote infant development across cognitive, social, emotional, and physical domains
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all infants through vigilant supervision and adherence to health and safety protocols
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences
  • Implement individualized care plans that support children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or additional support
  • Maintain accurate documentation of developmental milestones, health records, and incident reports in compliance with mandated reporting laws
  • Foster a warm, inclusive environment that encourages exploration and independence among infants
  • Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum enhancements aligned with best practices in childhood development instruction
  • Uphold all licensing requirements related to childcare, first aid (including pediatric first aid), CPR, and classroom management standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with infants in daycare or childcare settings; classroom experience preferred
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development, and behavior management strategies
  • Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) is required; ongoing training encouraged
  • Familiarity with special education needs and experience supporting children with disabilities or developmental delays is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration
  • Ability to manage classroom dynamics with patience, compassion, and professionalism
  • Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and well-being
  • Experience working with toddlers or in nannying/babysitting roles is beneficial but not mandatory
  • Must be able to pass Arkansas Child Maltreatment, Criminal, and FBI Background Checks

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
