The Learning Experience - Columbus Circle, New York, NY
Pay: $20-$24 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
- Lead daily classroom routines, activities, and learning experiences
- Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Create engaging experiences through art, sensory play, music, movement, language, early learning, and imaginative play
- Support children's communication, independence, and social-emotional development
- Use positive guidance and developmentally appropriate classroom management
- Support toileting, meals, rest time, and daily care routines
- Observe and document children's development and progress
- Guide and collaborate with Assistant Teachers
- Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families
- Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom
- Follow New York licensing and center requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related qualifying field
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related qualifying field
- Current CDA credential
- High school diploma or equivalent plus at least 5 years of qualifying early childhood experience
- Professional early childhood classroom experience required
- Experience with toddlers or 2-year-olds strongly preferred
- Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience preferred
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and positive guidance
- Must meet applicable New York licensing requirements for the position
- $20-$24 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
- Full-time Monday-Friday schedule
