We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our nurturing team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in fostering a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children. Responsibilities
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development.
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and educational activities.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Monitor the emotional and physical well-being of each child, addressing any needs or concerns promptly.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any relevant updates.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare and education.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities, adapting activities to meet their individual requirements.
Skills
- Experience in daycare settings or early childhood education is essential.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Ability to provide infant care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is highly valued.
- Familiarity with toddler care practices, including developmental milestones and safety protocols.
- Previous experience in babysitting or nannying can be beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
