Lead and Assistant Teacher

Overview
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Lead and Assistant Teachers to join our early childhood education team. This role offers an opportunity to positively impact young children’s development through engaging instruction, nurturing care, and innovative curriculum implementation. Ideal candidates will have experience working with children, a strong understanding of childhood development, and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment. This position is essential in creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom where every child can thrive.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy, math skills, and overall early childhood development
• Manage classroom activities ensuring a structured yet flexible environment conducive to learning and exploration
• Foster positive behavior and social skills through effective classroom management techniques
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum enhancements aligned with educational standards and individual student needs
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence
• Assist in planning activities that enhance the educational experience

Qualifications

• Prior experience in early childhood education, daycare, preschool, or private school settings preferred but not required
• Knowledge of childhood development and milestones
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to implement behavior management strategies effectively
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and team members
• Background in curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and behavior support strategies
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
