Kitchen Manager and Assistant Teacher

We are looking for someone who can prepare and serve healthy snacks, inventory supplies, grocery shop, order janitorial supplies, assist in the classrooms as needed.

Trinity CDC is a small, non-profit, TRS-accredited preschool that serves children ages 12 months - 5 years in northeast Austin. Our center serves 48 children from diverse backgrounds in our community. We provide low teacher-child ratios and have a small family-like atmosphere.

Applicants must:

- be willing to work 8:30-5:30 (occasionally you may be asked to work earlier hours)

-have a high school diploma

-have a Food Manager’s Certificate

-have experience working with preschool-aged children

-have or willing to obtain CPR/First Aid and SIDS/SIBS certifications

Preferred qualifications:

-experience in a licensed center

-previous teaching experience in early childhood education.

As an assistant teacher, you will be responsible for assisting with curriculum implementation, classroom environment and management, parent communication and other classroom duties related to the program, and overall supervision and safety of the children.

Salary Dependent on experience.
