Job Description

Victory Christian School is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and nurturing K4 Teacher to join our team!

We are looking for an individual who has a genuine love for children, a passion for early childhood education, and a desire to make a lasting difference in the lives of young learners.

Our K4 program focuses on building a strong academic, social, and spiritual foundation while creating a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons and classroom activities.
• Provide a structured, nurturing, and Christ-centered learning environment.
• Teach foundational academic skills, including early literacy, phonics, numbers, handwriting, and kindergarten readiness.
• Incorporate biblical principles, Scripture, and Christian values into daily instruction.
• Maintain consistent classroom routines, expectations, and behavior management.
• Monitor and communicate student progress with parents and administration.
• Create a welcoming classroom that encourages independence, creativity, and a love for learning.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and administration to support the school’s mission.
• Participate in required faculty meetings, training, and school events.

Qualifications

• Previous experience teaching preschool, K4, kindergarten, or early childhood education preferred.
• Degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field preferred.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Must demonstrate professionalism, dependability, patience, and a genuine love for children.
• Must be supportive of the Christian mission and values of Victory Christian School.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual School-Year Salary: $24,000–$30,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
• Prorated Salary: Compensation is based on the school year beginning in August and will be prorated for employees hired after the start of the school year.
• Paid Time Off: 56 hours of PTO per year, subject to school policy.
• Consistent Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM.
